# Useful Unity Packages

## GLTFast

GLTFast is a package that allows you to import .gltf and .glb assets into a Unity project. This can be done with other tools such as UniVRM, but this is included within the Unity eco-system.

* Go to the Package Manager window
  * If it is not enabled, go to 'Window / Package Manager'.
* Go to the top left and select the '+' symbol pulldown.
* Select 'Add package by name...'
* Enter 'com.unity.cloud.gltfast' and select 'Add'.

## Unity Shader Graph

The Unity Shader Graph is now compatible with the Built in render pipeline. This is similar to Amplify and Shader Forge in that you can create custom shaders using node graphs.

* Go to the Package Manager window
  * If it is not enabled, go to 'Window / Package Manager'.
* Go to the top left and make sure 'Unity Registry' is selected under the 'Packages' pulldown.
* Scroll down and select 'Shader Graph'.
* Select 'Install' to the top right of the Package Manager window.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.monaverse.com/create/resources/useful-unity-packages.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
